One of my uni friends, James, does stand up comedy in his spare time as his hobby and when moving to Liverpool he decided to go one step further and create his own stand up comedy night at the local shisha bar and our regular joint, Vooo. I attended the first event to show support him and enjoy a night of jokes and I realised that I wanted to try it next time.
Fortunately I was offered the chance and after a last minute frantic joke writing session the night before, my time had came. I wasn't that nervous suprisingly until the show actually started. I was the final act in the first half and walking to the microphone felt like the longest walk ever. The next 10 minutes were a complete blur, all I know is that I enjoyed it thoroughly and want to do it again definitely.
